An expansion featuring the worlds most elite Special Forces is on its way.

Electronic Arts and Digital Illusions announced today that an expansion pack for Battlefield 2 is currently in development.

The expansion, called Battlefield 2: Special Forces, will allow players to select one of six Special Forces organizations. The elite teams in the game will include:
U.S. Navy SEALs
British SAS
Russian Spetznas
MEC Special Forces
Rebel groups and insurgents

I hope they put us in locations outside of Asia and the Middle East this time. I'm hoping for some battles in the eastern parts of Europe; in particular, in winter forests and similar locations. Also, perhaps a fictional location in the U.S... c'mon, Red Dawn anyone?

i hope the multi player is as good or better than in the first game
