I didn't pay a cent to download Realplayer one. Just anoying because it's often asking to update!

Well there is a free version and there is a money version. Ofcourse those types of things usually never work ...And the updates..ugh man they are annoying...but in some cases nessicary.

I use QuickTime...it is awesome!

for movies and music, i use media player. but i do not usually listen to music or watch movies in my computer.

I have real player, it does demand updating in between, that part is taken care of by my son. I usually watch movies on my home theater.

I use foobar with music, winamp eats a lot of resource.

I use Media Player Classic for all kinds of videos and I don't watch movies in my PC either, not anymore anyways.
