Symphony X is a sub-genre of metal known as "Power Metal", if you've ever heard Blind Guardian or Manorwar, they fit into this category, they're just better.

I've been listening to them for two years. The first song I heard was Evolution, which instantly made me see the light...

I have not seen them yet. (I believe I missed the tour), but I hope they come here this year.
