Here's a list I made a while back of most artists I have (and like or love) on my iPod. It should give you an idea of what I like:
30 Seconds To Mars // A Perfect Circle // Alanis Morissette // Anggun // Audioslave // Avenged Sevenfold // The Beatles // Blur // The Cardigans // Coldplay // Collective Soul // The Cure // David Bowie // Deftones // Flaw // Foo Fighters // Gorillaz // Green Day // Jeff Buckley // Korn // Led Zepplin // Linkin Park // Lollipop Lust Kill // Marilyn Manson // Metallica // Mindless Self Indulgence // Nickelback // Nine Inch Nails // Nirvana // OK Go (recent discovery, not bad) // Queen // Queens Of The Stone Age // Radiohead // Rage Against The Machine // Red Hot Chili Peppers // The Rolling Stones // Sarah McLachlan // Slipknot // Soundgarden // Staind // System Of A Down // Tenacious D // Tool (might be my favorite band) // Type O Negative // Veruca Salt // The White Stripes

I I've download a bunch of songs for Presidents, Porcupine Tree and Opeth. I'll let you know what I think when I form an opinion...

That's a big list. Are you sure they're all even real bands?
I'll try to check out a few. It's too unfocused of a suggestion. And Limwire's search engine kinda sucks ass. And Ares isn't starting up lately.
I know Type O Negative and Radiohead. I've heard one song for Skinny Puppy (thanks to the Awesome Underworld OST). I know the Cure as well. Also, I have a video of a Modest Mouse live performance. Didn't get me interested enough, though. I'll try checking out the ones I can find.

Btw, in case anyone is interested I've only now discovered the OST for Underworld (the movie was ok, not great).
It's got some pretty interesting collaborations. Here are a few MUST GET songs from it:
-Skinny Puppy - Optimissed (only song for them I know)
*-The Damning Well - Awakening (This is insanely good, I don't know whether this band will stay and release an album, but they better)
*-Puscifer - RCV 22:20 (It's basically Maynard James Keenan of Tool & APC and Danny Lohner, one of the coolest love songs ever)
*-David Bowie - Bring Me the Disco King (Also has Maynard James Keenan & John Frusciante. Plain awesome song)
-Page Hamilton - Throwing Punches (Not a bad song at all!)
-Trust Company - Hover (Quiet Mix) (Good in it's own quiet way)
-Lisa Germano - From A Shell
There's also a song that is said to be good by a "Sarah Bettes" or something, but I couldn't find it .
Anything with a * is a TOTAL must get.

I've also been downloading alot of covers for some reason. A few interesting ones are:
Linkin Park - Wish (NIN Cover)
Foo Fighters - Darling Nikki (I know it's a cover, not of whom though)
Lollipop Lust Kill - Personal Jesus (Marilyn Manson cover, unless MM covered someone else)
The White Stripes - Jolene (Dolly Parton? cover)
Type O Negative - One More Time (Britney Spears?!!)
Foo Fighters & Jack Black - Back In Black (AC/DC cover)
Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah (I've had the album for a long time, but it's one of the coolest covers ever)
I would say Sweet Dreams by MM, but I'm assuming everyone heard that already. He also has Tainted Love, and I Put A Spell On You.
Did any of you know that Gun N' Roses covered Rolling Stones' "Sympathy For The Devil"? The original is better though.
Look for System Of A Down's rendition of the Zelda theme song. Just a little something...

If anyone likes anything, lemme know. Still open for band suggestions.
Btw, what is this shitty skin? Why won't someone change it?

Yeah they're real bands, but most of them are underground. I guess you're into the more popular ones.

There's better songs by Skinny Puppy out there, in fact they just released a new CD this year after like 10 years of no music. They're better than tool & manson combined. Actually I think Tool & MM stole most their ideas from them. (I like Tool & MM alot though too.)

DO NOT use Limewire anymore!!! Use Soulseek. It's wwaaaayy better. Kazaa sux, Limewire sux, Soulseek is the best.

Here's a more focused list with better chances of successful D/L:

Skinny puppy// Kraftwerk// Cursive// Nausea// GG Allin// Cradle of Filth// Atari Teenage riot// Aus rotten// Christian Death// Rotting christ// Mortician// Theatre of tragedy// Type O Neg.// Dimmu borgir// Megadriver// Oghr// Lydia lunch// Crass// Misfits// V.A.S.T.// Modest Mouse// Cure// Joanna Newsom// Alien Sex Fiend// Radiohead// Sigur Ros// Dead Kennedy's//

The "Personal Jesus" (Marilyn Manson cover, unless MM covered someone else) is a originally sung by Depeche Mode.

The new skins & banner are apart of some lame new regime change here.

I might of already asked this b4, I don't remember, but how does your religious views permit you to listen to these sort of bands, songs, & music?

You just arn't looking in the right places, I could find anything on a torrent site that you could find on shitty soulseek.

If you just want 1 off tracks however I find shareaza to be the best place to look.

Thanks. I already know AND LOVE Tool, APC and Rage Against The Machine. I have one or two Seether songs as well. I've heard of some of the others for a while, but never got around to it. I'll check them out in a few minutes. THANKS!

I see. I know a few indie and underground bands, it's just usually hard to find them. All that matters to me is that the music is good, I have a wide taste.
I'm gonna check out more Skinny Puppy, but I think it would be hard for me to like them more than Tool or MM. I have all of their albums (both).
Btw, I know and love Radiohead & The Cure. I have a few songs I like for Type O (Black No.1 being my fav.).

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check the rest out.

I use torrent btw. My prefered program is BitTornado. But one of the older versions of the program, it gives me speed and all the options I need. Plus it's easy on my PC. Others suck IMO, I tried newer versions of it, I tried Azerus, I tried ABC and another orange looking program.

You probably didn't notice. But I'm not exactly the most religious person out there, yes I have many beliefs. But they don't stop me from listening to the music I love . If I was more of a religious person, I might not listen to all of this. But I'm not.

I'll let you guys know what I like once I check it out.
