Here's my review for SakuraCon 2004. I only went for one day, so it's not that bad, I got want I wanted and had a great time! This year, the convention is heavily family orientated, you see many families and kids, and well as eldery folks. And there's great cosplayers to boot!

I went as Major U. Ishikawa from Gundam Wing. (here's a link to some pics:

SakuraCon was very off schedual this year; not all of the animes were listed in the showrooms, plus some events are postponed for about an hour.
The Merchants Showroom (where you buy stuff) tripled in size, and you got more stuff to buy!) I bought several Inu Yasha pins, and I'm happy! They have these Inu Yasha pins that are sealed up in colourful tin cans, and you dunno what you'll get. (think of it as trading cards) So, it's about $3.75-$4.99 for each (depending on which kiosk you buy at) I got all the pins I wanted, so I'm happy.
Sadly, there's no hentai booth this year because of the PG-13 feel to the con. (there's tons of kids!) But they did have a Yaoi stand, where all the girls flocked to!
Anime Dating Game was a riot! I'm think of doing that next year. It's like an anime version of The Dating Game/ Single Out.
Anime Jackass II was good as well, that's always addicting. What's that? Think of the show Jackass, and add anime related themes to it.
All in all, I have a great time, and planning to do it again next year! Next year, it'll be six days long!
Here's one last pic of me and Denise; she's a dark goth, oooh!
