I know it came out a little while ago but, what did everyone think about Final Fantasy the movie?

I thought that it rocked.
I also heard that they were suppose to release a special version for PS2.
In this version you could change camera angles and such.
Does anybody know what happened to this version?
Or where I could pick this version up?

If you mean the movie called, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, then it came out years ago. I think 2002 or '01. It was revolutionary in terms of animation, the team also worked on the first episode of the Animatrix. The story wasn't all that imo, and I hoped it would be based on one of the games. I never heard of such a version, so I can't help you. I do suggest watching the soon to be released movie: Final Fantasy: Advent Children, it's set 2 years after final fantasy 7 and is looking killer.

It is not based story-wise. Generally it is based on FF games. In theme more than anything.

the first one was really great. i loved the story. i even have a collection of it. i think you guys should check this out. it's a good movie.

Final Fantasy Spirits Within was garbage compared to FF Advent Children. Spirits Within was a waste of 3D animation that wasn't even that good. The characters acted like robots except for the old man.

Final Fantasy was a big bang in the theaters. It was expected to very well but it never rocked.I never saw it but I have read it is kind of science fiction.
