Atari, then moved up to a SNES, and a Sega Gamegear or whatever it was called. Then was the Gameboy pocket, The Ps, Gameboy color, The PSone, The Gameboy advance, then the XBOX.

Atari 2600 came out in the mid 1970s (1976 I believe) and the Sega Genesis came out much later in 1989.
The genesis was redesigned in 1992 and 1996, and own own both of these new generation models.
The first home console was the Magnavox Odyssey in 1972, predating the Atari 2600 by three or four years.

Game Boy. Shortly followed by Sega Genesis, then Playstation, then N64. Never got to own a SNES.
