I got it yesterday, it's a mighty good game. I might write a review for it, if I'm unlazy enough to.

It's really good, I'm in the...4th level, though it all flows together in story mode, unlike all the other games. Like you go to another town to accomplish something. Or you fly to another place to participate in a tournament, and there are other tasks to do while you're there.

Eric is a major mofo.

I saw a commercial on this game earlier at the movie theater. I'm not spending my money on another Tony Hawk game for a while.

Now I beat the story mode, done 121/129 goals, and have max stats except only 9 in grind and air.

i loved TH2 and 4, never played 1 or 3, but the thing is, it seems kind of stupid to me to be able to get in cars and **** like that in a skating game. also, i only seem to be able to get online in some games. i was able to get online in THPS4 and NBA 2k3, but not Gameday 2003 or Socom, so i might not be able to get online. how is it without online and does the driving and going on foot fit into the game?

I have it for Gamecube, so I can't go online, and I think it's fine. Then again, I've never played a console game online.

As for the cars/blimps/leaf blowers/limos(I think that's every vehicle you can drive) and walking/climbing/jumping/shimmieing, it works. You have to help out your friends by getting onto roofs, and you climb onto roofs to film awesome footage. Also the vehicles are just helping out local people. It's fine.

ok, im considering getting it, but i dont need to cuz i have True Crime which will keep me busy for months. i was just thinkin it looked kind of stupid but i heard its really good. ill probably rent it.

Well I finished it on normal mode, did every goal, and got all the secret tapes, though I didn't do all the gaps. Now I'm trying it in Sick mode. Fortunately, all the secret tapes and gaps are transferred over, so I just need to do the goals and the rest of the gaps.

By The way, whats makes this one different from the others? You can't play as pros or something?
