Since you say it runs on the other XP machine then it's probably the
video card that's causing the problem. You may need to either get a
different brand of video card or try updating the drivers for the card
you have. I have Hellbender, a Windows 95 game, installed on my XP
machine. It would never work right with the Nvidia GeForce card i had
installed but it worked perfectly when I replaced the card with an ATI
Radeon.

Run the video and sound accelerator tests in the DirectX diagnostic
(dxdiag). Then click the button in the diagnostic to save the
information. Compare the hardware configurations of the two computers.
Compare the video and sound card drivers to the versions available on
the respective manufacturer's web sites. You can also copy segments of
the information saved above to messages posted here so that persons with
similar hardware can compare their driver versions to the drivers in the
computer you are unable to run the game in. Make sure you include
details like CPU type, video accelerator type and driver version and
sound card type and driver version. Most of this information is in the
information saved by the diagnostic.

Check the game publiisher's web site for patches, compatability
information, peer support forums and FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
