new puter, running xp sp2, and followed the above directions, no luck. Any
suggestions? Like one of the posters, I play DF2 and need a fix after 2
months of down time, plz and tyvm DG* (was assured this would be an easy
transition, and has yet be proven, ran win98 prior) beyond irritation at
this point. Where is the 800 # ?????????????
P.S. 6 yr old game but i bought a gaming puter to run all games
(DOOM-able)... this is a lame amount of down time for such silliness. Come on
MS...this game should run w/o a glitch!!!! (downloaded and updated numerous
times ... just in case ...) WHY???????????????? pop the disc in, DL,update,
and play...what's the deal? Frustrating to say the least... plz correct the
problem.

Hi DayGirl,

Are you getting the C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The System file is not suitable
error message like the others in this thread? If not, you might want to start a thread
about your problem describing what error you're encountering with your configuration.
