Default monitor shuts off when playing any game

Can anyone help me, evrytime I play a game after a few minutes my monitor
shuts off, it happens all the time even when I play in Lan mode. The grafics
are set, shut off time, Ive changed my monitor in case it was that. Ive
changed my power supply and it still happens. I have a P4 with 1024 ddr ram.
A 9800 pro radion card, these have all been tested and are working. Anyone
got any Ideas how to solve this problem before I pull out all my hair.

Default Re: monitor shuts off when playing any game

Hi Willie,

At first glance, if your PC is not shutting off, then either
the monitor or the video card would be responsible for the
black screen / shut down that you're experiencing.

Since you've already replaced the monitor, that leaved us
with one main suspect: Video card.

Check the fans and make sure that it's not running hot.
Update the video card drivers as well for good measure.
