Hi. i'm trying to install halo on my computer but everytime halo starts
install and gets to 39% which is the c40.map in the cab3.cab file it stops
installing. i have all the sys. requirments and another thing is i'm running
windows SP2 on my computer any help will be great.

Let's try a couple of things to get that installed for you:

1. Startup your system in SAFE MODE by pressing F8 repeatedly
while your system is booting up after you've shut down your system

2. Log in with an account you've created as a "Computer Administrator"
account that you'll use to play the game. (Don't use a Limited account)

hey. i'm still having the same problem. i've tried in safe mode already
i've tried running it as a win2000 and win me capability mode. i am a
computer admin on this computer that i'm using here. and like i said its only
the c40.map that will not load onto the computer. and u may be asking if i
have the cd. the answer is no. and there is no way i can get it considering
i'm in iraq still. but anymore help would be greatfull. if not thats ok then.

Unfortunately, the next step would involve checking the CD..
