Default Fable: LC compatibility

I have Fable working and running on a FX 5700 series, this videocard is not
in the compatibility list, this however I conquered.
My workaround for this problem is running Fable under Windows 98/ME
compatibility mode.
I'm not sure if there are things I'm missing out because of this.
Will there be a patch or tweak so I can normally run this?

In addition to this, trying to run without any compatibility changes, simply
doesn't let Fable load.

Although the FX5700 isn't on the list, the 5200/5500 and 5800/5900 are...
and the strangely named GeForce FX... with no numbers.

You should be fine.... I will try it on my FX 5700 tomorrow, but as long as
you have the latest drivers and the latest DirectX, you should not have to
run it in compatibility mode at all.

What happens when you try to run it without compatibility mode?

When I run Fable without any compatibility mode it loads the engine box, then
"critically errors" and shuts down, when I start Fable again it'll give the
debug screen for normal/safe mode. Both normal and safe mode result in the
same loop.
