I have been reading and hearing many good things about guildwars.

I am now tempted to buy and play it.

is it as good as i heard?

My decision is to either buy guildwars or wait for city of villians. ;-)

I love games, but I don't have the time required to sit and go through an RPG night after night, though I'd love to. I like the idea of online games, but they're always filled with experts and kids with too much time on their hands and can have a huge learning curve, plus you might have to pay a monthly fee!

This game solves all those problems. Free, fun, and you can pick it up and put it down without missing a beat. The servers are absolutely lag free and it's a great online experience.

That's a lie. At peak times, being in a town is hell.

I had a blast playing the beta, and I bought it not too long ago, but it didn't keep my interest. It seems pretty slow at the beginning, and I'm not interested enough to keep on trucking until I hit 20, when the game "begins." If the game only starts to get fun a few weeks to a month of playing it more than casually, then I'll find other games to play.

Guild Wars is pretty cool. But you will probably beat it pretty quick, then, theres nothing to do. But for the week or two that your playing it its cool. Although there is things that need improvement.
