Super Smash Bros Melee
Game Title : Super Smash Bros Melee
Review Written By : Jason Barrett
Platform : Gamecube
For Age Range : All
Brief Description : Multi player game where you pick your character and fight up to 3 other players. Theres a nice selection of classic Nintendo characters which include, Link, Kirby, Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Metroid Prime, Game and watch, Pokemon and even a few characters from Japanese games I have never heard of
There are lots of different games you can play, most of them you have to beat the hell out of the other players and hit them over the side as many times as you can. Matches include, Who ever kills the most. Stock – You have a certain amount of lives, sudden death – first hit wins, small / big matches and plenty more. There is even a tournament option which is great fun.
There is a story mode where you can play single player and collect trophies, which is very addictive
What I thought of it : When I first got this game I couldn’t get enough of it. Me and my mates have clocked up 3000 hours of VS battles. This game does not appeal to lots of people as I have spoken to a lot of people who said they don’t like it. But if you like fighting games like street fighter / mortal kombat then im sure you will love this.
There is just so much to do in this game. You can unlock about 8 characters. Collect trophies, which sounds dull but it is not when you get into it. Unlock levels. Master combos.
This is a great game to play when you have got a few mates round, The game is easy to pick up, and you can play it with almost any amount of players. If you have more than 4 players you can play a tournament or even looser out games.
Tips : Practice combos in training or single player games before you play your mates.
Graphics : Nothing to shout about but the game play more than makes up for it
Game Play : Ive clocked up 3000 hours VS time, need I say more?
Lastability : Ive clocked up 3000 hours VS time, need I say more?
Over all rating : 85% But well worth a try if you like these sort of games
