I always heard the word AIM. Never knew what it was exactly. I prefer MSN messenger. It's much more practical to me, but more importantely all my friends have it so I use it too. It has better features, and some really cool non-licensed programs.

Im not really surprised...
I didnt hear of AIM since like a year and 7 months ago. I only heard of it because my friend told me and then everybody started coming on it and stuff. Now everybody is slowly going off since we all graduated and went in our seperate ways. Now AIM is almost dead. Now, the only person left is the guy who told me about AIM in the first place. Life can be cruel.

I was on AOL at the time and it came in ver 6.0, they're at 9.0 now (I think, I got rid of that POS  ) and upgrades come every 1-3 years. AIM got the feature a few months before 6.0 on AOL was released I believe.
'97 sounds about right.

Aim is better than MSN Messenger because of the SN/Email thing...the Email thing is annoying..

AOL is overrated. MSN should be better preffered because its Microsoft, and most people have a Microsoft product (OS)..
But dumbass teenagers use AOL...they think its cool...bitches.
