I say don't mess with the permissions, just keep the Mod/Admin section as a place for our custom avatars. Because quite frankly, I really like Core's avatar.

thanks for those encouraging words code, that was one of my main concerns to redesign what we currenty had and keep yet simple and easier to upgrade for future vb versions.
