I was wondering if it's allowed to speak about downloading mp3s and movies online for free here. And who in BG does it and who doesn't ?

I used to download mp3s on kazaa but after screwing up my pc with junk and all of the crap going on with the lawsuits on stealing music, I figured it was no longer worth it.

Yeah, I know what you mean. But ever since about a year ago, I have no problems with crap from Kazaa (Kazaa Lite that is). You just have to choose the right files. Where I live I can't be sued (is that how it's spelled ?) for downloading stuff online. These days Kazaa is the worst place for new mp3s, they are somehow messed up or mostly incomplete, I used websites for mp3s. I use Kazaa for movies mostly and fanssubbed anime.

I used winmx for a while also, but it was damn hard finally getting a transfer going successfully.

And yeah, sued is correct.

Yeah winmx is annoying when I tried it with my super slow 128 kb/s connection. Now I have 512 kb/s but I still don't use it. I installed DC++ but haven't used it yet. They say it's better than Kazaa. Won't know 'til I try.

Actually it's probably second after Kazaa, I took a look at it's servers, it
seemed pretty cool. You can connect to any server you like, some have specific content. The most visited ones are atleast 10 Terrabytes in size if I recall correctly.
