Woo I know.

Its too complicated if you think about it. I have to do some research on this thing.

Here is what I say...How is it 'time travel' if all you are doing is "seeing in the past"?

This isn't time travel we're talking about. Simply seeing into the past. And the mirror thing would work, except it'd be useless for a while. Say you can send the mirror out 1 lightyear away in 2 years, so it travels at half the speed of light. Let's say you send it out in the year 2010. In the year 2012 it will stop, 1 lightyear away from us. We won't see anything from it for another year, so in the year 2013 we will be able to see stuff from 2011 (1 lightyear each way = 2 years difference). So we'll be seeing what we could have just recorded 1 year after we sent out the mirror.

(all this is based on the theory that if you look at something a lightyear away that we are seeing that object one year in its past)
All these scientists cannot figure out the mystery of the begining of the universe...Could we send out a gigantic mirror(assuming it won't be broken and nothing obstructs our view of it) use a super powered telescope and if the mirror is far enough out see back in time to the begining of time?

or if thats not possible could we send out a mirror not so far off and look at it(having it reflect back at us) and see our past on Earth?
For that to work you would need to get the mirror out there faster then the speed of light, but it wouldn't work anyway because what it reflected back would still take the age of the Earth to get (reflect) back to us. So no.

that makes sense...unless we sent a giant video camera instead of a giant mirror. Then it might work.
