Default My morning - The race to ride the tallest and fastest roller coaster

Things are getting a little slow, so here's some discussion about my morning.

I woke up really early. It felt like I had to go to school today. I got to the park at 8:30am, and it opens at 10am They had a special event going on though, so there was already about 200 people in the park, so there's already a line and I have to wait until 10

Anyways, on with the stuff. I got in line at the ticket booths right away, and was one of the first ones, they started letting people in at 9:30. We went into the park and stopped where they had it roped off for the 10 am opening. Of course the rope was tied to a tree near the left side, but not all the way on the left, so we waited there. Once the security guard began to take the rope down at 10, we began to run while everyone behind the rope had to wait for the guard to get out of the way.

Here's a picture of how many people were there in the big race, at 9:50 am. That was all behind me. Almost nobody was in front of me.

So we ran, I was ahead of most of the people, and got in line for the ride right away. Walked in and took a picture of it at 10:06 am

After going further, since there was no line yet, I immediately reached the station. It looked like I was gonna be out in 30 minutes.

I got situated and took a picture at 10:32 am of the lines. The left is people waiting to get into the station (which was empty when I got there ), and the right (not up the stairs) are the people in front of me, waiting for front row.

After many breakdowns (most of which were resolved within 5 minutes) and just having the ride take forever to dispatch it's trains quickly, I waited for the front row for FOUR HOURS. It was definitely worth the ride though. Launching at 130 mph with nothing in front of you is crazy.

When I got off, the ride wait (for any row) was clearly at least 8 hours long. Sucks for them, there's probably still some people waiting there that were waiting while I was there this morning.

Here's one last picture I took after I rode:

Discuss. Since there's nothing else to discuss. ;)

If anyone is interested in riding this thing, it is located at Six Flags Great Adventure, in Jackson, New Jersey.

Well I knew to get there early, I just didn't know what time I should get there. You said an hour, I got there an hour and a half early, which was a good move.

Why would I even stick my tongue out? The speed itself was tough on the eyes alone.
