By "posted for a while," do you mean time since they registered, or # of posts? Because if it's time since they registered, what if someone joined and has become an active member, but just registered a few days ago or something. Should we exclude them from things like the Gallery and Arcade?

And if it's # of posts, then people will spam until they can use it, if they really want to use it.

Really it is not the new members that I am concerned about.
What bothers me is that a member can be inactive for over 6 months, come back and still retain all their goop, rep, and # of posts. I think if you are inactive for over 6 months, you should start back at 0 again and have to re-accumulate all those things.
I don't know realy....just a little anoyed that thay can have such a long absence and still have all those credits, making it look like they have been a part of the community the whole time.
I am probably talking nonsense, I just felt a little annoyed.

That is probably true about the participating, but then they abandoned the site and moved on to others.
This really is a mute point though, since the rules are already set as to how the situation is addressed. I am not trying to upset you, I am just the kind of person that is loyal to things and people. I would not think of abandoning a community for another unless I was unhappy and made a decision to not come back.
