What a bad weekend to be in FL. I have training at Universal this weekend (I'm being transferred next June to Orlando, where I'm going to college, and I do once a month training, just like for Grinchmas last year). They sounded the fire alarms today at about 2, telling us to get out of the park. So now I'm stuck in Orlando, and that thing is gonna hit. I'm coming to you from my cell phone, which I must turn off right after getting this message done. This thing is huge... things are now starting to pick up.

So, how's everyone else doing today?

i dont live in florida but my uncle does he lives in bradenton but he didnt get hit bad then i have 2 cousins who live in Altamonte Springs which is near Orlando and other cousins who live in Kissime also near Orlando and they are both getting hit pretty hard

It's funny, I actually thought about you cP when I saw some weather reports about it hitting Orlando and whatnot, since you're the only person I know if Florida.

I live way up the coast, so Spitz and I won't get hit from it until sunday afternoon or so, and by then it will have calmed down to less of a hurricane and just a storm.

Its not getting me bad yet. Diablo, I don't actually live in Florida. I loive in CA, but, I still have to go to those training sessions. And, of course, it had to be this weekend that the stupid hurricane has to hit. Nextel sent a message to customers saying that service in the Orlando area would be interrupted during the hurricane. The wind is starting to pick up, so that could be any time now. So, I'm going to shut my cell phone off now. I do have training tomorrow, I believe, so unless I hear otherwise, I'll be here to report what I saw in this thing...being by myself on the 9th floor of the Sheraton World Resort during a hurricane isn't exactly what I planned on doing today... so I may go downstairs later. We'll see though.

I guess you doing your things in Florida made me think that you moved there or something. Oh well, good luck.

Nope...still in CA, for the next year or so.

Anyway, that was pretty intense. Before the storm hit, they called every room telling everyone to go into one of the huge conference rooms, or one of the breakout rooms that they have there. They had room for everyone, but, wow, it was pretty intense around there last night.

See..my city is being gay right now..Its been 3 days with temperatures in low 60's and its almost mid August.

I evaded the whole storm. I was at Cedar Point from Thursday to today.

Back in CA already... got back Sunday night. I even had to write a story for my city's newspaper (since I work there on somedays), about my experience through it. It'll be in tomorrow's paper, so I'll be able to post it.
