I don't remember psx being $299, that was ps2. I think psx was $199 at launch.

I looked @ the history of consoles & it said psx was $299 at launch. I got mine for $299 the 1st or 2nd year for xmas but my little brother pee'd on it & I had to get new one later on for $199

The first PS game I ever played was a Crash Bandicoot game - I think it was with NeoCortex. I was hooked - I loved it and still like it!!!

The first video game that I played was Mario, I used to love to play it. Rather the family used to set the turns for every one, we used to take turns to play this game.I loved the first two levels the most.
