Favorite part of the Holidays
What's your favorite part of the holidays? I don't so much like getting gifts as buying them for people. There isn't much better than that feeling you get when someone opens that perfect gift, and you bought it for them.

For me it would have to be seeing the rest of my family, I only get to see them once every year (Christmas) because they live so far away. Presents also, but that's a distant second.

When I first notice the decorations going up. On Monday, I was at a store, and there was already Christmas music playing...
Christmas Eve is awesome, I'm with family even though we don't live too far away, everyone is excited, etc.
Receiving presents is just a bonus, I could go without if needed... Seeing a cheerful face when your gift is received is a good feeling.

I just like the fact that so many Holidays are right after each other. Even though they all cause much unwanted stress and anguish they also bring people closer together. When you think about the Holidays most people remember the good times and the warmth, instead of the petty fighting and stress that people go through. It's a nice feeling.

Just relaxing.
Seeing friends and family, and getting in the spirit of giving.
Things just feel different.
This year's holidays should be good too, I'll get to spend some quality time with my girlfriend.

And by quality time you mean quality time in bed.;)
Anyway, I like being with my cousins, or whoever I'm spending that Christmas with.

The food. That's my favorite part of the holidays. Still it would depend on what holiday we're talking about. I like the midnight bonfires on New Years.

I love to relax on I am on a holiday, no door bells, no telephone calls.I love to try different kind of food around. I don't go in for elaborate shopping when on vacation.
