Why does it matter that there's a king/queen, even though they like don't do jack shit and it's the Parliament that matters?

U.S is run by the people...yes, they give the money, but then the same people are getting job cuts and pay cuts...and then taxes sure, they decrease but there is no point to it damn it. Its just a way of saying...Welcome to America, your money is now our property. not really :meh: but seriously..

Taxes, as much as people hate them, are good, in that they make the country go round. The government, public schools, public libraries, and loads of other services couldn't operate if it wasn't for taxes.

And Diablo no they arent good for a Kingdom, since the kingdom and the royal family is so rich, the money is circulated and the running of the kingdom does depend little on the people, but mostly to the government. But that is why prices are a bit high on somethings I guess..
