My school does seem rich, at least compared to where I used to live. Just think of this, there's 2300+ people in my school, probably about 1800 buy lunch. Lunch is $2 (Small meal, carton of milk, & fries), fries alone are $1. They sell additional cookies for $1, and some other drinks and chips, plus there's a snack bar for additional prices. They must get a ton of money a day from lunch alone, even though the money paid is mostly meant to pay for the food the school provides.

And damn thats a expensive and crappy lunch. Mines is only $1.10 and my school is pretty rich. But they rake in all the money at the start of the year.

Do you live in the suburbs?

I live on Long Island, and the only thing we have to pay for that I can think of is $5 for a gym locker that we keep for our 3 years at the high school, a good amount of money for a yearbook if we want one, and a shitload of money for a class ring if we want one.

Well and lunch.
