I'm smoking now for about an average of 2-3 cigarettes a day. I am quitting. If you're planning to quit and you smoke about 10 cigarettes a day, I suggest you start by cutting down the number of cigarettes. Like maybe decreasing it 1 cigarette every week or 5 or 4 days. The body would gradually also decrease its dependence on cigarettes. Now, I only smoke when I most feel the urge like after eating. Next month, I probably would be "smoke-free". You don't just quit at once. Do it gradually.

I am a smoker and have been for over fourteen years now. I really need to quit and want to, but it is very hard to do. I have cut back a lot so I know if I just keeping cutting back more and more, I will be able to quit more painlessly.

Yeah I know how it feels. I regretted the first time I started smoking. I now couldn't control myself to find one, mostly after eating. Good luck to all of us quitting.

I must tell you molly that once you decide not to smoke then stick to it, there is nothing like reducing. You have to quit, just quit it.Make it public that you have stopped smoking, this hinders you from taking even a single drag later.Try to fill the gap with some activity, as I started with regular workouts.Once you kill that urge then you will feel so proud of yourself that you will never think of smoking.Feel proud by quitting, but stop feeling stressed that how will you handle it, I promise there is nothing like that.

I can imagine it now, having no urge to smoke. Wow, that would be really great but hey, back to reality, I just can't quit it just like that.

You might be taking to lighter side, but I assure you that skies don't fall if one quits smoking, it is just a matter of a bit of control. The magic strikes.I never thought things will be so easy, but seriously quitting is not impossible.

I started smoking when i was 16 but i left it when i was caught red handed at my home. I think its only the will power of a person which can help him to easily quit smoking.

I quit smoking years ago. I learned it was bad for my health and after trying six times I successfully laid those things down and never looked back.
