Look all I am saying is that the entire thing was unfounded. Bush should not have gone into Iraq to begin with. now the US owse more then all canadiens will make in there life times put together.

Bush stumbled into Iraq using the WMD idea as propaganda to rally the American people--the real reason that troops were sent to Iraq was to rid the world of the potential threat before he became a threat to us (a preemptive attack, basically), and to set up a democracy in a place where we need all of the friends we can get.

I don't condone the war, but looking back at some of your posts you seem to be ignorant on the subject. America was split in two during the election, and the two major parties STILL can't agree (this is evident in Congress).

The troops are still in Iraq to clean up what they started. To withdraw the troops, thus leaving the country in ruin, would be an even worse criticism against the already hypocritical America.

I agree...to just up and leave now would be criminal. Though I did not agree with the choices the American Government made....they are responsible to clean up the mess that they have made of things. Many innocent women, children and men have suffered for their Government's choices....they should not be left to cope with a homeland that is nothing but a ruin.

Yes...of course noone wants to leave Iraq in utter chaos. So we HAVE to stay in Iraq. Not because we WANT to. Damn Bush administration...they deliberately created this situation.

First, falsely waging war against Iraq. Then, creating this stupid situation where the troops are "stuck," because it would look wrong to just leave. "If you create the mess, you must clean it up." They deliberately created this "mess" falsely and they know that they must "clean it up." Of course, that "cleaning up process" is gonna take a LONG time.

Yay! American imperialism of Iraq complete and in full throttle! The good o' US of A can secretly plunder Iraq's wealth in the background while "cleaning up" by "building" some stupid "democracy" and making the world "safer from terrorism" while not attacking Iraq would have never created such a shithole and a threat to USA.

Props to the Bush administration. Maybe Bush wasn't an idiot after all...or Cheney is using him as a puppet. Blah.

I agree that no one should support a war for oil - I'm American as well. I don't beleive in supporting the war, but I feel for the troops even though they choose to be where they are. It's all so misleading... Pointless... Would someone come cleanse our government please? I might move to canada... hahaha

but btw, whatever happened to the idea that canadians are nice? what's up with saying the U.S. sucks? Just becuase our government has gone sideways deosnt mean that our country and our people suck...

It seems that heavy talk is going on, but guys you know no one wants war in the present scenario.All countries are doing fantastically well and want to move ahead.But if your country is fighting against some issue then man you got to lend your support.
