yeah, the opening was really amazing. i liked it a lot. and i think that it is one of the greatest openings. well, i can not really tell if US will be on top. but there are a lot of countries that are very good and leading like China and Korea.
I'm guessing that USA would win it and regarding the entrance, WOW, that was amazing. They move as if they were one, and with those lightings, *whistle* fantastic.

In my opinion, it's the gold that matters. It shows who really won. As of this moment, China's gold is 45 to USA's 27. Although, China had many controversies regarding their athletes and judges. I liked USA's basketball team though. They came with a vengeance. Anyway, I hope there would be no more Olympic tragedies like those murders. I'm looking forward to the ending ceremonies.
The opening was really outstanding, lot of hard work was put in by the participants and the organizers. The gold medals are with China in bulk.It is really surprising how Chinese excel in most of the events, it is commendable.
Great closing ceremonies. You can tell that they've really prepared for the Olympics. It's the biggest preparation you can ask for. Personally, I don't care for the lip synching part and the fake fireworks in the Bird's Nest. It's all about putting a great show and they did.
I enjoyed a lot watching beijing olympics and watched my favourite events like boxing, swimming, wrestling and gymnastics. I loved the performance of phelps.
Its interesting that China has been found to be cheating in many of the events they have participated in this year. Did they actually believe they would get away with it?
