Default AMD files antitrust suit against Intel
Fight for gamers' hearts and minds lands in court as AMD claims Intel used coersive tactics to land OEM deals.

Advanced Micro Devices has fired off a federal antitrust lawsuit against Intel, claiming that its rival has a monopolistic grip on the PC industry.

The suit, filed Monday in the US District Court in Delaware, details alleged scare tactics and coercion that AMD claims Intel imposed on 38 companies, including large-scale computer makers, small system builders, wholesale distributors and retailers.

I'm rooting for AMD. I'm not really a fan of Intel chips.

Im not to sure recently, Ive always been an intel fan, But in the last few years AMD have improved drastically and aparantly are producing faster processors than intel!!

I'm going for AMD also, Their latest processors leave intel in the dust. The 64 bit processors are really good, along with the opteron ;)

I'm sticking towards Intel, thought AMD is improving their line, they still have some catching up to do for as the reliabliity of their processor code.

AMd is just stupid. Who the hell has an AMD, everyone has an Intel Pentium 2 - 4.

AMD finished Q1 2005 with 16.9% share of the world's PC processor market. I use an AMD Athlon XP 3000+ processor.
