Honestly I don't know, I never noticed the banner until I seen this post. This one is OK I guess. Banners are banners and out of all the ones I have seen this one looks OK, but where is the Bluegoop at?

I can tell you were using photoshop in there. This is how you save a file from another location:

Right click > Save As

It seems like you just flat out "print screen" and put it into photoshop, and then saved the file.

I saved it as PNG for a reason, to make the corners seem like they're invincible. And yes, your banner can be a png, just go into ACP, and paste the real url, as it was uploaded.

That is some awesome work you did there Carlo. I like the contrasts of the sky in the background. Yes the original version is definitely cleaner and the edges fade nicely.

@ Carlos - Sorry about that. I was wondering why that had happened. I've fixed it now.

It is smarter and brighter than the earlier one.The previous one was average, but this change is welcome and you see changes are sometimes good.

Honestly it sticks out like a sore thumb, color schemes don't match the site at all

Knowing Bluegoop....It was always known to have bright colors, so I went in this design with that in mind. I wanted to bring back the passion BG was lacking.

The owner wanted me to pick games that are attractive...I took that advice, but I also wanted to throw in something that feels like a banner....

Bionic Commando is the next biggest multiplatform title coming out, so I merged that kind of banner with a GTA image in it. And there's no fitting image than that Niko Bellic image on the right. I didn't care about matching colors as long as the name "BlueGoop.net" feels right.

What's the meaning of the name? A green site? No. So I saved that green for "net" (which is also known as network). Goop? I dunno what color represented that, so I went with a matching color to the background.

Its good to see you again, NeoNinja, but it seems like you're here to tear me apart...I see that you voted for "worse than old banner." Really? I didn't like it which is the reason why I never returned or posted much.

I did vote that, because it blended better with the overall site more than this one. The orange sticks out too much from a dark-gray/black and dark green scheme. I would have gone for a more blue green or maybe into yellow for a scheme, because that probably would have fit more.
