Terror Attacks Me In London
It was only yesterday when I was on my way home from work and I could feel a great happy atmosphere as we just won the rights to host the next Olympic games.
But today as you might very well know that atmosphere has completely changed as there has been reported 8 terriest attacks (some bombings) in London. I arrived at Liverpool Street station at 8.40 and apparently a loud bang was heard at 8.49 and police were called to the scene. I missed it by 9 minutes.
Currently I am at work and we have been told not to leave the building for our own safety. Is anyone else stuck in London?? Hope everyone is well!!
Tony Blair spoke at 12 noon today to confirm these were terriest attacks, And he also said that we will win the war on terror!! Today is a sad day, But it will be the day that I remember for the rest of my life

Damn. My uncle missed the 9/11 attacks in NYC by about 9 minutes too. Glad you're safe.

This is definitely a sad day for London and all of Britain. Let's just hope we catch the bastards responsible.

Glad to hear you and yours are alright, jcb.
What happened was horrible, but for various reasons this date didn't burn into my mind the same way that 9/11 did. It's not about the death toll, it's just that 4 years ago I used to think that terrorism was something that took place in the Middle East, that the towelheads did these things to another one and left the rest of us alone (my apologies for the non-PC expression).
Since then we've had all those decapitations and whatever that the media have masturbated on to some extent.

Since when are "Jim Norris" and "Suchin Pak" celebrities?
Anyway, glad to hear that you're okay, and I would state my opinions on this whole thing, but Core covered it pretty nicely.
