Okay, for those of you who just don't get it:

Current admins: Alias, hypedave, jcb, diraytrongcay, saj, spdude
Current smods: Diablo

The order of ownership has gone, as far as I know, like this: Benson -> hypedave -> jcb -> diraytrongcay -> spdude, with saj helping him in moving to another server.

Why diray's still an admin is beyond me, as he sold the place after owning it for like 2 weeks.

Well I made an offer to two capable members of buying the site, one was interested while the other one didnt really want to bother with buying another site as he had already bought a gaming site. But dont worry guys im still here and dont plan on going anywhere, longs as the administration staff keeps me around i'll be here.

It would be the same reason he buys other e-mpire stes: to perserve the community.

The reason why he purchased XE is not just because it was a powerful xbox site; he needed a reputable xbox ste, however, he bought it because it has some traces of e-mpire, via me.

The reason he merged random forum, would be because Dwhitten didn't want the site to be thrown around as much, just like BG. On top of that, Omega worked a deal with Brian, and omega was ready. Why? To perserve the community.

Omega would LOVE nothing more than to buy the original GCXL. Think why would Omega want BG. Think. You community members are what makes a community, he wants more loyal members than just a drive-by member.

It makes NO difference if a site is in a "shithole" in fact, that's the perfect time to purchase a site. PERFECT. Omega buys sites CARING about the community. If he sees that a site has a lot of the same members, he will buy it regardless of how much its in the shitter.
