Ok, Over the next few weeks I am going to be working hard to bringing in more members. I have a few ideas (below) but can you think of anything else we can do??

-I am going to add a downloads section where members can download demos, freeware games, ROMS. I will also advertise this section the best I can on other download sites

-Quiz section, described in the other thread.

-Link exchange with other gaming websites

-I have added the newsgroups forums, that has bought in a few people.

-Computer games cheat section, Well I dont need this but I know you do

Has anyone got any more ideas??

An advanced arcade- an arcade w/ all the works. many people come to this site exclusively for the arcade, so if we have the best vB online arcade available then we will naturally draw in the most members. Over time word will get out and we'll begin to steal other members from other arcade forums.

• I recommend having as many games as possible, minus the adult games.

• Organizing the games into coherent categories for the simpliest of ease & maneuverability.

I'd volunteer to moderate the arcade and any of it's layout proceedings if necessary. I could even go to other arcade sites & put "bluegoop.net" in the 1st place slots for advertising

I have seen an arcade leaderboard addin that I am going to add. It looks good, it lists the top 10 players

top 10 leader board sounds great. I'm available anytime, glad to help

If we start drawing some members exclusively because of the arcade, we should reinstate some sort of posting requirement or something, whether it be x number of posts gives you an hour of use, or x number of posts to access the arcade, or whatever.

While more members is good, the biggest part of this site is the forums, not the arcade.

I've seen some options like needing an arcade pass or points to play games in the arcade. If we must have a limit then it should be x number of posts a DAY, but this would still seriously impair the arcade and this site's popularity & favorabilty. Gaming is the heart of this community, the arcade alone generates many threads & posts in the forums.

I've also noticed a challenge option in arcades, we should get this too.
