I have yet to play this game. My husband used to play it, but he said it was too addictive so he stopped. So since he doesn't want to play it, I won't either I guess.

I tried playing it on private server, technically because its free.

Anyway, I find it addictive only if you stick to it and the gameplay is almost the same with other online games but with different characters.

I never played World of Warcraft before because of the $15 per month fee. Some are claiming that it is in auto-renewal meaning that you would be still paying once the one-year contract expires. I suppose that I will be still paying for the $15 subscription fee even if I am not playing.

Anyone knew if the auto-renewal is true?

My husband is still playing it after a year in a half and as much as I love him - he drives me nuts with playing it - he is already on the newest expansion, the Lich King I think. I think it is addicting because it is a world all it's own.

I just remind him our life is more real and all is good...lol

I just asked my husband and he says that you can choose whether to auto renew or not on the management page of the game which is where you set up your account info.

Go to Manage my accounts and then to payment options - there you choose how you want to be billed - month to month - every six months...etc and whether you want it to auto renew or not.

I hope that helps!

Thanks for sharing!

I have long been looking for this kind of answer. Now I’m thinking of joining the WOW team my friend got. I’m just wondering now on what should I be.

Default World of Warcraft

My son used to play that game continuously until Maple Story came out. Now he only plays it sometimes. There are so many characters in that game with interesting personalities. At one time he would be on the computer from morning til night; if I let him.
