why congratulate people for winning a football game?I mean all they did is run around in tight pants and get hit and hit people.

cause they achieved a certain goal they were aiming for and they are asaying thnx to u for making it possible.

it is a nice thing to say to others when they won somthin u know. so that is my awnser.

when it all began? im not sure but its cool to keep the tradition alive.
