Don't you understand the problem? A genome is the genetic makeup/material of your chromsomes and youer body. If tehy have your genes for the blood type, it's almost like they're using your identity from you.

I imagine that in that day and age, the office would have you sign a release form or contract that enables this Future-Gen to use your DNA at their discretion, although in the case of HIV vaccination, such information, as is all science, should be at the hands of the public forum, and as public knowledge, should be administered by governments worldwide to people worldwide.

That's the point... Future-Gen ISN'T allowing you to negotiate with them whether or not it should be used or if you should get a portion of the money if there's a profit.
If there's a resistance to HIV Virus out there, I don't care if someone else uses the genomes form my body to make it. It will save millions and millions of people yearly.

Firstly, a clone would not only be different in physicality and mentality if that's where you're aiming, but the individual qualities of a single person have to be forfeited on account of the public welfare. As I'm sure you know, humans are 99 percent alike in all ways, so it makes little difference either way.

So you're going to allow a company to use your blood cells that could cure a virus and....
1) Not allow you to hide it
2) Not give you any share of the money
3) Or give you exclusive rights, since it is your genome
It does make a big difference when someone knows what kind of charactertistics you have personally and will not allow you to prevent it from public.
