I think Roy is awesome when you are playing easier levels. Up through normal I can make it through on the 1-player modes. If they get to close and keep attacking, you have a move that blocks, then hits back. And if they are in the air, you charge up and blast them. It takes a lot of skill to be really good with him. Mewtwo is good if you are fighting someone without a strong finishing move because since he floats and doesn't actually use his legs, he flies a lot farther than most people.
