Okay... First of all, I am not sure where this belongs (what forum). However, I would appreciate it if it were kept in The Lounge because it will be seen more.

Next. I would like to propose a Neopets Battle Competition.

I would be the coordinator for it and would take care of the arrangements needed. I will set up a date if this gets a good response, and I will take care of anything that is necessary.

So- Here is what would happen.

You would first of all have to have a Neopet. If you are interested, go to Neopets and register. Make a pet, and you are already starting the fun! You would train your pet [this is one of the reasons I am announcing this now... so people can train their pets] and work on making him or her stronger.

Then, you would plan on which weapons you would like to use. You can buy your own weapons of course, however, I think I may set up some sort of a rental thing. People could make a list on the items they want to be up for use in the Neopets battledome Competition. I would then buy the items, and if you would like to use them, you would pay a small rental fee (I don't know how much- but it would be much less than 1000- probably around 100 to 500 points for each weapon per battle).

There would probably be a small entrance fee which would go to the final awards for the winners. The fee would probably be like 500 neopoints or something like that. Then, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners would be given the money and rare items (who knows what the prizes could be ).

You would set up a time and date for battle when you would go against your opponent. You would then battle them (maybe best battle 2 out of 3) and neomail me the results, or post them somewhere, or something. We would continue with the battles to the final battle, where a winner would be decided.

Then the prizes would be awarded, and I don't know- Maybe something special would happen.


I think I am forgetting somethings, but thats okay... This is just to see what kind of response I would get for it. If you are interested, please post so here. I will probably be looking for helpers later, so just post saying that you would be happy to enter and possibly help out.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I would appreciate some good responses because I want to see if this will be a go or not. I want quite a few people in this, because I will be putting a lot of work into it.

Don't worry about the strength of your pet or anything, just let me know if you are interested.

Yeah, this sounds like a really cool idea. But I have been with Neopets for 4 days and I still haven't been able to beat ANYONE at Battledome. Anywayz how are we going to have like more than 2 people battling?

nightcrawler, we could have elimination. like say we have 4 ppl, named A, B, C, and D. we could have A fight B, and C fight D. then winner of AB fights the winner of CD for the championship.

We would set it up so that people would battle and move one... like 8 people start and they are paired up, and then 4 people move on to the next round, then 2 people, and then 1 person wins- Something like that.

You can start training if you want- just go over to Mystery Island. I think maybe I'll post this on another site or something and have people register over here- it could be a Bluegoop competition.

I suck at battling neopets. Seriously... either way, I rarely visit that site anyways. Plus, me pets are week.

okay biggg, every1 participating trains their pet, then at some time we pair up and battle, the winners battle, and so on, simple single elimination, until we have 1 winner. u'll also be able to rent weapons from vcv, and to participate in the tournament u have to donate something like 500 neopoints which will be used for the prizes.

since we're talkin about battling and such, does any1 know of good battledome weapons that are at most 35,000 NP? i looked at the suggested weapons in the PPT battlepedia, and the only thing i saw was Grand Lightning Beam, but is there anything else?
