I disagree. Not everyone has the exact same reaction towards a certain game. While one may think a game is perfect and nothing should change, another would want to see improvements.
There is no universal formula for a perfect game in everyone's opinion.

How can you not want anything to change in a game? There will always be one or two things, even if they are small, that could be better.

there something about that "perfect" game..
its not about Graphics...
its not about the story
its not about how solid or refined the gameplay is
hell its not even about the fun (i have played games that have been so much fun its insane, yet i knew it wasn't perfect)
its a feeling you get that you can play it, for a long long time... and it doesn't get tiresome..
for a while I thought Harvest Moon or Zelda had that perfect.. but they didn't.. because after a while I got bored with them, and with time came the end of them in terms of my playing them... they lasted me for a VERY long time.. but that time ended eventually.. it wasn't perfect.. but it was close to perfection as i've ever had it
Harvest Moon (snes)
Terranigma (snes)
Ocarina of Time (n64)
Harvest Moon 64 (n64)
Legend of Oasis (Saturn)
Beyond Oasis (Genesis)
these were all SO close... yet didn't make it past the contest of time... it just wasn't a perfect game... but it was as close to perfection as a game could possibly get
that is why im so interested in what Fable offers... just thinking about it makes it feel close to perfection... of course there are many things that can ruin it, but little by little.. the puzzle is pieceing itself togeather, at first it was gfx.. then it was story, then it was gameplay.. now that we know these little things.. it just opens itself up more and more to the slow but inevitable release.. and when that moment comes, i'll finally find out if I will experience the first "perfect" game.. or just another game, close but not close enough..

True. There will always be minor adjustments that can be made, but in many cases, it's just not enough to even want those sdjustments.
I love Jet Grind Radio, I play it every day, and it's my top favorite game of all time. I would change nothing. Nothing at all. Sure the game could benefit from a more polished and smooth control, but it's just not enough for me to even care.
If you catch my drift.

There is no game today that is "perfect." Every game has some kind of flaw to it. Then, when sequels arrive, there's room for improvement, every single time, no matter how "perfect" some say the game is. There's always something in a storyline, graphics, sound, or controls, that will screw a game up from being perfect. Take Super Mario Sunshine for example. It could have been a "perfect" game, if the CAMERA wasn't so screwed up. That is a major flaw in many games today. It's little things like these that stop a game from being perfect.
