Alienware's don't sell better then those 2 pcs, yet they are about 100x better. What I'm saying is sales figures mean jack, because I would be willing to bet that the only reason Compaq is selling better, is because they appeal to the general public.

If Compaq is such an overrated computer company, I'd presume that they would've decided to quit late in the 90's.

i wouldnt even get a Brand Name computer, they are fricken rip offs, im getting one in 3 months from a Computer Fair

Well Link,seen as tho you are from UK like,me I would recommend PC World,I got me a £700 PC with these specs :
-256mb Ram
-80gb Hard Drive
-CD/RW
-DvD Drive
-Windows XP

You can find some very good deals there ;)
