I think when it's time, Benson or some other admin makes a topic with a contest, and whoever wants to be a mod can post onto that topic, then the staff [behind the scenes] votes on who will get it.

Heh..well as of now we have enough mods..actually one reason i became a VIP is because of there being one mod too many so i took the liberty. I wouldn't mind being a moderator again tho..maybe in the future.
