Heffer, I was having a similar problem. IE refused to load any of the IGN servers, and I was getting pretty pissed.

It runs on my other web browsers, but not IE. It could be a recent router upgrade or something stupid like Tal's semen screwing up server districts. . .

If you're runnning IE, go to "Tools>Internet Options>Advanced"

And then go to "restore defaults," and it should work.
