I go to my cousin's house tonight and we trade gifts through family. Then I come home and we open everything under the tree. Then I play my new games all night, and my parents sleep in, in the morning. The rest of the family comes to my house on Christmas day for a lunch.

Sometimes we have grandparents over, we always open presents on christmas morning, and have christmas dinner at lunch.

I left the land of milk and honey (california) and headed to New York, where I'm originally from anyway, and we start a new tradition this year, since it's our first year out west. We have dinner on Christmas Eve, and open presents on Christmas morning. On New Years, we're going to just stay home and eat all night. (nothing different in that tradition).

This year we started a new tradition- A secret Santa thing in our family... We all drew out a family member's name and we spend 25 to 30 bucks on a gift for them. We usually have family friends over on Christmas Eve, then we go to Church, and then we come home and have Christmas Eve dinner and then exchange Secret Santa gifts... Then on Christmas, we open gifts in the morning, then we have a big breakfast and a big dinner.
Also, on Christmas Eve and Christmas, we have those holiday popper things- its become a tradition.

On Christmas Eve we normally all go to my Great Grandma's house and eat a biiiiig dinner there, and do the same for lunch on Christmas. However she is 92 years old and not feeling too well so we aren't doing the Christmas Eve dinner this year, and for Christmas lunch it won't be anything fancy like ham and turkey. IT'll be like finger foods like ham biscuits and sausage balls this time.
However my mom is cooking a great big turkey and a great big country ham, so
