this totally sucks.damn cables.
ok, ive had this computer for about 1 1/2 years. i have a cable modem thingy called like road runner or something, i duno, so my comp should be fast.it isnt. it totally sucks. it getting worse over the last year too. for instance, last night, from like 5 pm till i went to bed, i coudnt do anything. aol, aim, explorer, none of them would work. now this morning luckily they are working. i called the computer tech guy cuz i am so fed up with this. the computer freezes at least 5 times a day and it takes like 20 seconds for a page to load. the guy came to check out my comp and said all my stuff was fine, didnt have any viruses or too much space being taken up, and should be working well. then he said, there have been a lot of compliants here where i live (nashua, new hampshire) because the cables are screwed up and they dont know how to fix them. he said that it will be fixed by the end of the week on monday, and right now its still screwed up somewhat. stupid whole citys cables are screwed up this is so fricken dumb.
should i sue?

No, I don't think you should sue. I know that here in CT, I have Charter Digital Cable, and it was down a lot one summer, over the whole town, and no one really sued... It took them a while to fix it, but once they did, it works fast and everything.

Just because your computer is messing up, doesn't mean the cable company has anything to do with it.

Your PC's suckiness has nothing to do with the cable company.
Try reformatting

You can reformat as many times as you want, and I doubt it will make your computer go any faster.

If he got his computer a year ago, well, unless it's an old one, he probably installed a bunch of shit, and that WILL make it go slower

Too bad they won't let me try. I share IPs with all the other AOL users and it won't let me try the test.
