I'm pretty straight edge. I wouldn't get a straight edge tattoo on my hand... but maybe on my ass Nah, not really...

I don't need to commit to anything but myself at this point. I respect myself like that but I don't need a permanant thing to prove it. The people who choose to be straight edge and commit to it, more power to them and they've got my respect.

That's true enough, but tattoos are also supposed to be a personal thing. That's why people get crosses (religion), names (love), or anything else. It's a reflection of who you are.

Key word: IF.
Needles aren't expensive, I'd bet every one of those people used a new one and had their tat done by a trained professional.
