some of you might know that my PS2 went crap a week ago, even though the lights are functioning properly, the CD rom won't eject.

Well...... I manually pulled the CD rom out of my PS2. Place my CD, and forced it back in. With the theory that when I turn on my PS2, it will play it.

Nothing happened....... This sucks, I'm going to have to buy a new PS2.

Forcing it in there DEFINITELY didn't help the situation, I can tell you that much.

lol..... I know, well I don't care anymore, and I don't know much about fixing these kinds of stuff. My father promised a new PS2 anyways...

That sucks....cant u send it in to be repaired? You could buy a new one but hats 200 bucks

Sony should have a phone number for repair on the side of the box or you can go to thier website and check it out. Buying a new system is one of the last things you should do so check out all your options first;)

Seeing as his dad promised a new ps2, plus hearing how repairing generally costs more usually with Sony, why not wait for his father's deal to come through?
