Just like the rumour about Sonic in SSB:M? Besides that it's Mario Kart, and sonic has nothing to do with the mario franchise, so I doubt nintendo would put him in. It could happen, but I doubt it.

Exactly. Sonic would only ruin the feel of the Mario universe. Don't get me wrong tho, I love Sonic, but Sonic couldn't possibly have less to do with Mario worth Hell. Plus, Mario Kart is only for Nintendo franchises.

That would be ridicoulous seeing Sonic in Mario Kart.
Sonic can go faster then Mario on his gokart. So there wouldnt be a point for Sonic to have a gokart

I'll tell you what Sonic Team should do... They should make a Sonic R 2. Think of how much better that'll be! It'll be just like the multiplayer mode in Sonic Adventure: Battle, except much more elaborate and extensive.

No, Sega is rumored to beciome a Nintendo exlusive developer. Thus, anything that Nintendo throws into tehir game regarding Sega franchises will be acceptable and not seem "ridiculous." Besides, Miyamoto smiled at the thought when he mentioned it in an interview from a popular videogames site, however I have no idea how this correlate to Sonic's fast paced action. I mean, he can probably run faster than any kart on the race, and therefore Nintendo might be planning on making him a secret character for the people who spend endless hours unlocking every secret.

That's old news, Big N'.  When SEGA went multi-platform, it was stated that Nintendo and SEGA had plans to make a Sonic/Mario game together. I would have happily posted the link to my source, but unfortunatley, this was more than a year ago, so the link has been long gone. But I'm sure of all people, Big N' knows what I'm talking about.
