Night is usually the best time I make sprites...like from Midnight to 3. I don't see how that doesn't work for you and your signatures.
Sure, it may take a little more work if you took your time, but you'll have a better chance to getting good compliments if you take your time.

Kanto, the BR is tight. One of the reasons your cut outs look bad, is because you dont blend your pictures to well with the color and theme of the backrounds.
The font is okay, but you should add some kinda effect to it.
