Well, I just find it pointless altogether. I mean...here, you get a medal for being a regular and having 2000 posts...it just seems retarded in a sense. If you're going to give out medals, it should be something because they earned it. So, should I get a medal showing off that I posted a lot on the older boards? Nah, I should get a medal if I like did something that is something worth showing off about, like getting a high score in an arcade game.

well the thing about post count is it encourages spam, and karma is less easily abused.

I don't know, this idea really doesn't change much of anything. I think we should leave it how it is, but I'm not completely opposed to starting over if we keep the Dbase.
